Dr. Rebecca Murphy

Rebecca is a sociologist in the field of mental health systems. Rebecca’s work focuses on amplifying and integrating the knowledge of Experts by Experience in both our mental health and research systems and is also informed by implementation science, specifically the co-design, implementation, and scaling of ‘optimised’ interventions in health systems. She has extensive experience of conducting participatory methodologies with normatively excluded and ‘minoritized’ communities, including people from ethnic minority backgrounds and people with experiential knowledge of mental health difficulties, homelessness, and forced migration.
